Nowadays, billion and billion of people are searching and buying stuffs online every each seconds as I speak. They are using either Mac or PC computers to do online shopping, research, playing games, contacting to their friends and relatives, and on and on. Majority people do have at least one desktop or laptop computer at home. Even schools, businesses, libraries are using computers. It is everywhere and centralizes in our daily lives. You probably cannot live without it nowadays.
Thousand and thousand of images, documents, pictures, and data are put onto the hard drives. You have all of your information on to either 3 1/2 hard drives on your desktop or 2 1/2 hard drives on your notebook. But most people don't realize when your hard drives are down and not working; you don't know what to do or get into panic situation.
What is your backup plan? My advice to you is to do backup your data, pictures, documents regularly onto the spare hard drives.
Here are my suggestions below:
- Get organized all your data in sub folders
- Back up regularly weekly, biweekly, or monthly
- Back up what's important to you, i.e., all your confidential documents, pictures, data
- Buy several hard drives or USB External storages
- Go back up your drives routinely
You need to know which hard drives are good and reliable to buy. There are only two big hard drives that I know are Seagate and Western Digital products. You buy whatever you can fit into your money budget. I prefer you to buy WD External storage like My Book edition or My Passport Elite because it is easy and inexpensive.
Here is the link that you can go to and check out WD store below:

Remember computers can and do fail unexpected. So if you don't do anything right now, you will increase your chances of losing your value information on your storage memories.
